CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The increase in the price of gasoline in New Hampshire outpaced the national rate in the last week.
In New Hampshire, the average retail price rose 5.3 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.85 on Sunday.
Nationally, the average price increased 1.4 cents per gallon in the last week, to $3.91.
New Hampshire’s price was 21.7 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 15.4 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The gasoline price website NewHampshireGasprices.com says the national average has increased 16.8 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 17.2 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. Prices have fallen in areas such as California and Chicago.
