CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The price of gasoline is still climbing in New Hampshire, but there are signs that the national average is slowing down.
In New Hampshire, the average retail price rose 5.1 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.79 on Sunday.
Nationally, the average price increased 3.2 cents per gallon in the last week, to $3.89.
New Hampshire’s price was 25.3 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and 9.1 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
The gasoline price website NewHampshireGasprices.com says the national average has increased 18.6 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 26.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. Prices have slowed their increase and have stabilized in dozens of areas.
