AN alleged bikie gang member has been charged after a loaded gun was found in his car in Sydney’s southwest, police say.
Officer’s stopped the 35-year-old man’s car in Smeaton Grange on Friday morning.
A fully loaded semi-automatic pistol hidden inside a bum bag was found in the car, police said.
The man, who police allege is a member of an Assyrian crime gang, was arrested and charged with possessing a prohibited firearm, possessing an unregistered firearm and driving while disqualified.
He’s been refused bail and will appear Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
