USA Today – President Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed Monday on the need for a political transition in Syria as they sought to work through “tensions” in their relationship.
Meeting for nearly two hours on the sidelines of the G-20 summit in Mexico, the two presidents focused mostly on areas of agreement — even when it came to areas of disagreement, such as Syria.
