Days of Palestine, West Bank –Israeli occupation bulldozers uprooted on Tuesday morning hundreds of olive trees in Palestinian farms in occupied West Bank.
Witnesses said that the Israeli armoured vehicles stormed the Palestinian farms in the eastern slopes of the West Bank city of Tubas and imposed a military cordon around them.
Later on, a number of Israeli bulldozers arrived in the area and started razing fruitful plants, including olive trees.
The operation started without a pre-caution, the witnesses said, and tens of Palestinians living in their farms were blocked inside their homes until the end of the operation.
“Uprooting our olive trees means destroying our main source of income,” farmer Ali abu-Ali, owner of 40 dunam-farm, including 150 olive trees, told Days of Palestine.
