Qld farmer’s legs trapped in harvester

A man suffered serious injuries when his legs became trapped in a potato harvester west of Brisbane on Tuesday.

Firefighters used a hydraulic cutter to free the 39-year-old after emergency services were called to a farm at Lower Tenthill, in the Lockyer Valley, just before 10am (AEST).

The man was freed and flown by helicopter to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition with suspected leg fractures.
