Russia is hosting an exhibition on advanced technologies and robotics with representatives of tens of engineering companies participating in the event, Press TV reports.
The three-day event kicked off in the Russian capital, Moscow, on Thursday.
Prior to the opening of the event, representatives from 50 different engineering companies, manufacturers, software and hardware developers as well as some 8,000 visitors registered to attend the exhibition.
Personal, industrial, consumer, drone robots are being showcased at the event.
Robotics presented at the exhibit feature autonomous machines controlled by mobile devices which are capable of feeling, seeing, hearing, and reacting to their surroundings.
A variety of robots put on display include a robotic chair, the talking autonomous humanoid robot FURO-D, and a robot drone which is designed to deliver pizza.
Back in May, Moscow hosted an event called “Ball of Robots,” where more than 20 robots from countries such as Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, South Korea, and Japan were exhibited.
