DeGeneres’ company, Very Good Productions and Warner Brothers TV has been reported by Deadline to be at the base of the new television series soon to come.
The novel is a New York Times bestseller, where a struggling actress feels like her time is running out with only six months left in a three-year plan to make it in New York. She has been waiting tables to pay the bills but has yet to make it in the acting career she is after. Her two roommates are supportive, however, she is considering giving up her dream and move back home.
Graham will write the screenplay. She will sit alongside DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman to bring her novel to life in the TV series.
