Peter Nolan With so many scandals beginning to plague the Obama administration in recent days, some citizens may wonder, along with Hillary Clinton, what does it matter? What difference does it make?

But when viewed within the context of a free society, a Constitutional republic that guarantees the protection of certain rights, the seriousness and gravity of the current avalanche of scandals come into clear focus.
Each scandal represents something much broader and much more ominous. Each represents an attack on the guaranteed freedoms of citizens, undermining the Constitutional protections of those freedoms, and thus undermining the concept of a free society. The administration has attacked free speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, voting rights, gun rights, and the sacred promise that if government sends citizens to dangerous areas to serve their country, it will provide necessary protections.
The attacks by the administration on the freedoms of citizens are numerous and pervasive, so much so that only the top infractions will be highlighted. So far no one has been forced to face accountability for their actions.
