The results of a new poll show a mounting dissatisfaction among British voters with the coalition government’s failure to tackle the aftermath of flooding crisis in the country.
The ComRes survey carried out for The Independent on Sunday revealed that six out of ten voters believe the government failed to get a grip on the flooding crisis.
According to the results, 48 percent of people say they are now almost certain that the crisis has its roots in man-made climate change, while 30 percent do not believe there is a link.
The survey also showed only a quarter of people are satisfied with the coalition’s response to the crisis.
The floods first hit southwest England around seven weeks ago, but they are now moving eastwards towards London.
Several flood warnings are also remained in place along the River Thames, which breached its banks after reaching its highest point in years.
