President Trump was reluctant to agree with the fake news narrative that Russia was behind Wikileaks.
Remember?
He wouldn’t say it for the longest time, and he was being pressured to. Then, eventually, in January, for reasons we may never know, he said “I think it was Russia.”
This was clearly due to some kind of overwhelming pressure, and, I assume, a large dose of “NAIVE ACQUIESCENCE.” But I believe it was a mistake that planted a very bad seed.
Every regular reader is aware that I shill for Russia. Not because I am a Russian shill, but simply because I believe in Russia. I believe in Vladimir Putin and I believe in Russians as a race.
But I will tell you now, without any nip-bit of shillery, that I do not think Russia was behind Wikileaks. I don’t know, obviously. But I have extreme doubt.
These are some of the various thoughts that lead me to believe this:
- Anyone could have done it – literally, anyone. Podesta’s email “hack” was the result of a phishing email, and the DNC admits that they had virtually no security on their servers.
- There is reason to believe the DNC hack was actually a leak.
- There can be no way to ever prove that it was Russia – hacking attributions are always dumb, as the very nature of hacking involves not being traced, or being traced to something that isn’t you.
- The CIA invented tools to mask their hacking and make it look like a foreign state did it – and these tools were released on the open internet before the alleged hacking took place.
- Podesta’s email had a login logged from the Ukraine.
- The US government has every reason to blame Russia for this, regardless of who did it.
- The US government has produced no evidence that it was Russia, simply citing “analysis.” There is virtually no conceivable reason that releasing proof would harm the present investigation, yet when given the opportunity to give proof in the Obama-ordered report, they declined.
They are clearly working on a step-by-step entrapment of President Donald Trump. It is designed to lead to impeachment.
Right after they established that “it’s a fact” that Russia did it, they moved on to “oh well, Trump knew about it, and worked with them.”
This was all on display at yesterday’s Congressional intelligence committee hearing with FBI Director James Comey and NSA Director Mike Rogers. Repeatedly, both men referred to Russia’s having done Wikileaks as a “fact,” and also said they were investigating Trump to see if he was involved.
The situation has gotten very sticky. Trump can no longer fight on the grounds of “Russia didn’t even do it, so your whole premise is fake news,” because he said Russia might have done it. The intelligence community isn’t going to backtrack from the claim Russia did it, as that would destroy all of their careers – they’ve now testified before Congress that the fake news narrative is real.
So now you have Russian hackers working directly for Vladimir Putin helping Trump win the election established as “fact,” and no real way to get out of that.
Then you have the firing of General Flynn and Jeff Sessions recusal – both of which come close to an admission of guilt.
I don’t think that they’re going to find that Trump actually colluded with Russia to do Wikileaks, but they can announce that if they want to. If they’re going to lie about Russia doing Wikileaks in the first place, they’ll lie about that. And apparently, there is nothing Trump can do to stop them.
I hope and I am assuming that Team Trump has a plan to deal with all of this. I don’t think it’s possible that they don’t have any plan.
Looking at this, I don’t know what the plan is, however. It looks as though they’ve been ensnared, and it is extremely worrying to me.
Hopefully, Trump has the documents on the Obama wiretap ready to fire. And soon.
This could all begin spiraling out of control.
I hope that Trump knows that we will support him if he is backed into a corner and forced to declare martial law.
His people will support him.
We are all ready to die for him. Because we know he’s the last hope for a peaceful revolution in the Western world.
Hail President Trump.
Hail the United States of America.
Hail Victory.
