FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda At least one protester has been injured after Turkish police fired tear gas to disperse angry protesters in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
Clashes erupted between police and protesters in the Okmeydani district on Thursday.
The protester was reportedly shot in the head, and is said to be in serious condition.
The Protesters took to the streets to mark death of a teenage boy, who was killed during last year’s anti-government demonstrations.
They also condemned the government over handling the recent mining accident that killed 301 workers in the western city of Soma.
They demanded justice for those killed in the mine explosion, which took place in the western city of Soma on May 13.
According to a prosecutor, a preliminary report showed that coal had been smoldering for days before the deadly tragedy, causing a roof collapse and releasing toxic gases inside the mine. Officials have said most victims were killed by the toxic gases.
Last week, Erdogan said mining accidents are “the nature of the business,” prompting angry responses from his critics who accused him of indifference to the plight of the miners.
