FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda The Australian-born activist has been campaigning at the peace camp in the British capital along with the late Brian Haw for the last seven years, during which she has been arrested an estimated 47 times and imprisoned twice without trial.
The peace campaigner started her hunger strike on 27 December, 2012, with the aim of serving as an example for others to shame the UK government into acting.
“I did not come to Parliament Square to die and I do not want to die. I came to Parliament Square because people everywhere are entitled to – live – in peace, without the constant illegal wars being waged by government,” she said.
She also stressed that the “horrendous brutality” of Britain’s illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have led to millions of innocent civilians suffering and dying.
This anti-war protest has been encamped at the Parliament Square for more than 10 years, protesting against Britain’s wars in the two Asian countries.
In January last year, the Metropolitan police forcibly removed the campaigners’ tents and properties, after a new law came into force preventing encampments around the square.
“The purpose of my hunger strike on the doorstep of government, where we campaign, is to highlight to government its injustice in not returning our tents which are necessary for our survival as we peacefully exercise our right to freedom of expression now,” Tucker added.
