‘UK govt. endangers Brits overseas’

On Press TV’s weekly political debate program Comment, which was broadcasted on Friday, Galloway condemned the UK government for its warmongering policies across the world.

“The British government has had to come to terms with not only the loss of several British citizens in the hostage situation in Algeria, but this very evening, the Foreign Office in London has ordered British nationals to flee the capital of ‘free’ Libya, next door to Mali,” Galloway said.

“I don’t care how many there are, it’s another indication of how the British government, by joining the hated of the Earth has made our own citizens and our own interests, in grave jeopardy,”

On January 11, France launched the war under the pretext of halting the advance of fighters in Mali.

Britain has already sent two C17 transport planes and a spy plane to the region to support the French war on the West African country.

British anti-war organization Stop the War Coalition has also attacked the UK government for being “the first to support” French military in stepping up airstrikes against rebels in Mali while providing “no democratic discussion or debate” over its decision.
