Sept. 23, 2013 – Werner Bock was released from custody late this afternoon, and upon arriving home, he made phone calls to several of his friends to say that he is OK. He is scheduled to appear in court again in Moncton on Nov. 28, 2013, on the same charges, alleging violations of the SPCA Act. Mr. Bock maintains that these charges are false and frivolous and part of a wider conspiracy to smear and harass him, with the ultimate goal of stealing his property, his animals, and all that he has worked for all of his life.
In a telephone interview he stated that while in jail he had been given only two thin blankets and was forced to sleep on a sort of concrete slab. There were no windows and one couldn’t tell whether it was day or night, but added that one of the guards was nice to him.
While in court last week, the authorities seized Mr. Bock’s briefcase to hold it “temporarily” it was said. The case contained all of his research papers, his wallet, his drivers license, his debit card, all of his personal papers. When he went to retrieve his briefcase today, they told him that they could not find it. Canadians are told that such ‘authorities’ allege are there to “keep them safe”. Losing the briefcase, or worse, depriving Mr. Bock of his personal property is in itself sad commentary on the state of affairs in Canada, and it appears to be more evidence of harassment that Mr. Bock has claimed.
Many people from across North America made phone calls to the court house and the Sheriff’s office to inquire about Mr. Bock. It seems to have helped, and certainly did not hurt, as they now know that he is not alone and that many people are genuinely concerned about what is happening to him, to his farm, his livestock and his livelihood. Mr. Bock and his friends are most grateful to all who heeded the call for assistance and made phone calls on his behalf.
Mr. Bock is not feeling depressed or suicidal. He remains in good spirits, all things considered, and he is just as feisty and determined as he ever was. He maintains his innocence and decries those who are covering up the real crimes that have been perpetrated against him, and his farm animals.
Members of the alternative media and all who are concerned with truth, freedom and justice are asked to continue to follow this story, as the mainstream media seems uninterested in the truth. They have totally ignored the shocking evidence which Mr. Bock has provided, and instead, have deliberately smeared him in public with patently false statements.
