FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda “Today, it can be said with certainty that the dossier of the US coup in Syria has been closed with the defeat of the global arrogance,” said Deputy Head of the Iranian Armed Forces’ Joint Chiefs of Staff Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri on Sunday.
Jazayeri pointed out that the resistance against Israel is a non-negotiable issue for Tehran, adding that the movement has become mature enough to stand against animosities and even inflict enormous damages on the enemy.
The Iranian commander went on to say that the enemies of Syria seek to achieve their objectives through military means and terrorist activities, noting that such measures have merely led to the massacre of innocent people in the country.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March 2011. The violence has claimed the lives of many people, including security forces.
Damascus blames ‘outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups’ for the unrest, asserting that it is being orchestrated from abroad.
The West and the Syrian opposition, however, accuse the government of killing protesters.
