FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Zarwali Khoshnood, working for the Khost branch of the public radio and TV channel, RTA, said the US troops tied and kept him blindfolded in a room during the four-hour raid.
The troops then took away his computer and camera as well as his money, about 200,000 Afghanis, during Wednesday’s pre-dawn operation.
The nighttime raid has angered Afghan journalists who want an end to the controversial pre-dawn operations by the foreign troops.
Meanwhile, in a separate night raid by US-led forces in the eastern Logar province, at least 17 Afghan civilians, including women and children, were killed on Wednesday.
Logar provincial officials said a tribal elder and 16 members of his family were killed in the attack.
Overnight operations by the US-led forces have resulted in civilian casualties and increasing tension between Washington and Kabul.
