The album, “Modern Vampires of the City ” will be the first full length studio album Vampire Weekend will release since “Contra” in 2010. The lead single from the new album is “Diane Young” which is a double sided single with the track “Step”.
In total the album has 12 songs, and it is currently available to pre-order. The album was initially supposed to be released on May 7, but on March 25 the band announced it was being pushed back a week due to unanticipated delays in the production of physical copies of the record.
