A VICTORIAN government-employed driver for Opposition Leader Daniel Andrews has had his licence suspended for a month after being caught speeding.
The driver was fined and lost demerit points after speeding on the Monash Freeway on Good Friday.
Mr Andrews released a statement saying he had requested the suspension begin immediately.
The driver was co-operative with the relevant authorities and regrets the incident, the statement said.
Mr Andrews said he was disappointed, and that all Victorians were subject to the road rules without exception.
