Ten days ahead of presidential elections in Russia, the population’s political activity is reaching levels unseen before, with tens of thousands of people rallying in Moscow on February 23 in support of their favored candidates for the presidency.
The biggest took place at one of the grounds of the huge Luzhniki Sports Stadium in support of presidential candidate Vladimir Putin. Police report 130,000 participants arrived to Luzhniki to take part in the rally. Vladimir Putin delivered a speech in front of his supporters.
