FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda Raising the minimum wage from the current rate of $7.25 an hour to $9 should be a no brainer. It’s been eroding for years. If the minimum wage stayed even with inflation since 1968, it would now be $10.56 an hour. Raising the minimum wage is only fair that is roughly $18,000 earned per year, which is just above the poverty line for a family of three. And it would put more money into the hands of families that need it the most. It will allow them to buy more putting more money back into the economy and therefore, keeping people employed. So not only is it fair, but it is good for the economy.
