Police have charged a woman over the stabbing of her partner during an argument at a house at Canley Vale in Sydney’s south-west.
Officers say they found a 29-year-old with a knife wound to his chest at the property at about 6:30pm on Sunday.
Inspector Raven Maharaj says the man called 000 and is now in Liverpool Hospital, where he will be interviewed by police.
“It was from the house itself, the victim actually called us,” he said.
“He has come to the hospital and he’s in a stable condition at the moment. Police are yet to talk to him formally.”
Police arrested a 29-year-old woman at the home who has been charged with reckless wounding.
She was given conditional bail and it expected to face court next month.
