South Australian police were shocked on Christmas Day when a 27-year-old woman driver registered a blood-alcohol level of nearly seven times the legal limit.
The woman, from Glenelg East, was pulled over for a random breath test just after 1pm at Brighton.
Police said she blew a blood-alcohol level of 0.347, or nearly seven times the legal limit.
The woman was reported for drink-driving and lost her licence for 12 months.
Her car was impounded for 28 days and she will be summonsed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court at a later date.
