If you’d love to live in a home that looks like the interior of a log cabin but are surrounded by painted drywall instead, consider picking up some wood paneling from Wonderwall Studios. The young Dutch creative company uses only recycled wood from old furniture and buildings. The result is a natural look for your home that won’t wear on your green conscience.
In the above video, Wonderwall owner Jan Swinkels explains that the panels are flat on the back, to fit flush against a wall, and rough on the front, for an authentic look. They are easily mounted on the wall using a tacker. Since the filming of the video, Wonderwall has added two new styles: Phoenix and Bridges. Phoenix is made from reused wooden furniture, some of which are decorated, making for an eclectic but pleasing look.
Wonderwall is working with Doing Goods, a Dutch initiative to create a home and garden collection of handmade goods made with recycled materials, from producers that value corporate social responsibility.
