Police say a man who died in an explosion at a factory in Perth was using an angle grinder to cut a fuel drum.
Emergency crews were called to the factory on Welshpool Road in Queens Park just before 2:00 pm (AWST) on Monday.
It is understood the man was cutting the drum inside a sea container when the explosion occurred.
It is believed fuel vapours inside the drum were ignited by a spark from the grinder.
Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze but the man died at the scene.
No-one else was injured.
Worksafe is investigating the incident while police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
