NEW YORK (AP) — Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. said Monday that IBC Solar AG will buy up to 200 megawatts of solar modules this year.
Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
Yingli, based in China, will make an initial installment of 180 megawatts. Germany-based IBC will have the option to purchase an additional 20 megawatts if needed. Some of the modules are expected to be installed in Germany and other European countries.
Shares of Yingli rose 13 cents, or 2.9 percent, to $4.67 in premarket trading.
