Frosty the Snowman has finally been returned home to his worried family after being held captive by cheeky thieves for nearly two weeks.
The Murley family’s favourite Christmas decoration was “stolen” from their front verandah on December 9.
The thieves sent the family a ransom note and also emailed photos of Frosty at the pub, go-karting and motorbike riding.
The entire family is glad to have Frosty back in time for the holidays.
“We thought he was going to be home on Christmas but he’s home earlier — that’s the best thing about it,” said Frosty’s owner, Sarah Murley.
The family ornament is reportedly doing well after weeks of partying.
“He had a bit of mustard on his foot from a trip to McDonalds from a cheeseburger and the tip of his carrot nose is a bit burnt as well,” she told the Herald Sun.
The entire family is glad to have Frosty back in time for Christmas.
“We were just ecstatic … everyone was just punching the air,” Mrs Murley said.
