Defeating the Orwellian Technocracy & Real News!

How to Defeat Big Tech CensorshipPosted: 28 Dec 2020 02:35 PM PSThttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQjE1zLxyEA&feature=youtu.beVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: How to Defeat Big Tech Censorship (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQjE1zLxyEA&feature=youtu.be)Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably noticed that the internet isn’t what it used to be these days. Social media platforms that used to provide for the free exchange of information and the means of organizing resistance, have anointed themselves arbiters of truth, on a mission to protect our fragile minds from any ideas and opinions that they happen to disagree with. Controversial posts are now ‘fact checked’, restricted or flat out removed. Those who dare speak outside the lines are subject to temporary or permanent banishment.Unfortunately this trend isn’t likely to reverse any time soon. In fact it’s going to get worse. Calling them out or petitioning for change isn’t going to work. These people feel validated and justified. And they are supported by a highly vocal contingent of the population that believes that dangerous ideas should be silenced, and that heretics should not be allowed any platform whatsoever to speak their minds. As such it is imperative that we develop new strategies for exchanging ideas and organizing that do not depend on their technology. In this video I’m going to describe a media strategy to bypass Facebook, Twitter and Youtube that makes use of Telegram, however the same principles can be applied to other apps.Telegram is an encrypted messaging app which ties to a cellphone number much like Whatsapp. However it has much more features than Whatsapp, including channels and multi-level admin controls for groups. It also has a desktop version for Mac and Windows that make it much easier to work with.Working with Telegram as a tool for activism is very different than old school social media because you don’t have direct access to open pools of users that can find you in a search. However the fact that Telegram distributes all messages directly to your channel subscribers or group members without censorship and without limiting distribution algorithmically, makes the potential reach of this platform much more significant.Telegram also has secret chats which provide a means of communication for activists that intelligence agencies cannot monitor. Given the level of access that social media companies grant to the NSA and other entities this extremely important. And if you think this is a conspiracy theory, you might want to look into the Edward Snowden revelations.Once you have Telegram installed, setting up channels and groups is easy. Click the pen icon in the top right corner and choose new group or new channel. When you create a new channel or group you will be given the chance to set it as public or private and choose a custom URL. It’s also worth noting that you can create a custom username for your account so that people can contact you without knowing your phone number.Once you’ve created a channel you’ll want to enable comments by connecting a discussion group. This is done by double clicking the channel name and scrolling down to the discussion link. Follow the instructions and a group will be created that allows your followers to comment on posts in the channel and have conversations among themselves. Both Telegram groups and channels provide the ability to pin multiple posts. This can be used for setting discussion rules or to list links to resources. In addition to text messages you can post photos, videos, or polls by clicking the paperclip icon to the left of the text field. All of these media types can be embedded into web pages to share with a wider public. Now you can get your groups and channels jumpstarted by sending invite links to your contacts, or sharing them online. These links can also be converted to QR codes which can then be printed onto posters, business cards or stickers. You can also create location based groups in the phone version of the app by clicking contacts, find people nearby, then create local group. This will make your group visible to anyone who has location services enabled in the area.So imagine you are trying to organize resistance to a government policy and Facebook and Twitter have made it clear that speaking out against this policy will not be tolerated on their platforms. Rather than trying sneak past them (which is not likely to work), you create Telegram channel. In that channel you pin your manifesto or information about your event to the top and send an invite link to your contacts. You also make a post to your normal social media profiles sending people to the channel. Next you make posters, business cards and stickers with your message plus a QR code. You also post pdfs for these print outs into the channel, and encourage your subscribers to distribute them. You then create a network of local and regional groups moderated by people you trust. This enables people to organize their own events in their respective towns.Rinse and repeat and your movement will grow. Social media companies won’t be able to stop you. In fact they won’t even have information about your activities. They will be completely out of the loop. And that’s a good thing, because it also cuts government surveillance out of the loop. Now the StormCloudsGathering channel has survived the social media purge so far because we’ve been very careful not to cross certain lines. There are certain things we cannot talk about here, or we’ll be taken down. However in in this next phase some of these lines need to be crossed, and we’ll be crossing them on Telegram. We’re going to be posting content there which will not be available on our other platforms. In fact if you join the @StormCloudsGathering channel on Telegram today you’ll find a new video that will never, ever, be posted on Youtube or Facebook. This content is creative commons. The lynchpin of their strategy centers on mass vaccinations and health passports tied to a national and ultimately an international database which will keep track of everyone’s immunization status. They are in the process of setting up a system in which the only people allowed to move freelywork, and attend events will be those who submit to their dictates. It will start with a vaccine, but that’s just the beginning. Once you are in the system they can and will set new terms. If they succeed they will have total control of all medical decisions. Resist and you loose your freedom.Though some people might think that this pandemic will be brought to an end with one mass vaccination, the official narrative points to a very different picture. A much more likely scenario involves multiple rounds of vaccines pushed on a yearly basis. Now regardless of your position on vaccines in general, COVID-19 vaccines should be regarded with skepticism. These are MRNA vaccines, a technology that has never been used on humans before and it will have no long term tests conducted before the mass roll out. It is absolutely impossible to foresee all to the long term consequences of such an operation. And if we’re talking about multiple rounds of these vaccines this implies multiple layers of untested code interacting with each other. The potential for unforeseen long term side effects is extremely high. While vaccine producers have hailed the immune response that their products generate, this actually has the potential to increase the number of fatal cases. COVID-19 is not deadly for most people, but for those that get the worse cases the problem is never a lack of immune response, but rather a hyper-immune response that leads to what they call a cytokine storm. What kills people is the immune system going into overdrive, causing massive inflammation of the lungs, brain and other vital organs.Another potential consequence of multiple rounds of these vaccines is a long term increase in auto-immune diseases such as multiple sclerosis (see the H1N1 and Guillain-Barre syndrome, also see how measles-mumps-rubella immunization has been proven to cause immune thrombocytopenic purpura). These kinds of diseases are caused by the the body’s immune system attacking its own cells leading to a slow degenerative death. These kinds of side effects would be virtually untraceable, and you can be sure that making the connection between an increase in such cases and the mass vaccination regime will be off limits. The simple fact of the matter is that there has been absolutely no time to see the long term side effects of these vaccines. To foist them onto the entire population all at once, in response to a disease that only kills a small percentage of those who contract it is beyond irresponsible, it’s criminal. The fact that vaccine producers have been granted complete and total immunity to litigation and prosecution related to these products is very telling. Now this is a very grim picture I’m painting here, but there is hope. I strongly believe that the powers-that-be have miscalculated. They think they can train and condition you like dogs, but they’re wrong. The 2020s will be characterized by the rise of a great resistance. It will start slowly at first; small pockets of chaos and uprising that grow beyond their imagination. The kinds of riots we’re seeing in France right now are just the beginning. It will take some time, and it will get worse before it gets better, but the-powers-that-be will lose everything in the end.To facilitate this process we need to propagate some key information. Crowd psychology is a weapon. It’s time to pick up that weapon and learn how to use it. Read Gustave Le Bon’s books: “The Crowd” and “The Psychology of Revolutions”. Watch “The Century of the Self” and study the psychology and tactics developed by Edward Bernays. Read “From Dictatorship to Democracy” and research how it has been used systematically to topple governments through color revolutions. With this information a handful of people can bring down an empire. With leaders popping up everywhere the powers-that-be will be facing an assault from all sides. Cut off one head and three more will grow up to take its place. This is how you stop them. This content is creative commons. You have permission to download, copy and distribute by any and all means. Collapse of The 2020s – A Positive Course of ActionPosted: 31 Oct 2020 02:46 AM PDThttps://vimeo.com/490090133Video can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Collapse of the 2020s (https://vimeo.com/490090133)Imagine ten years ago if someone described to you what the world would look like as we entered the 2020s. Would you have believed them?Interesting times eh? It’s about to get a lot more interesting.History will remember this decade as a critical turning point. The end of an era.2020 was the year that ideas like this went mainstream. Headlines that used to be relegated to the lunatic fringe were now being promoted by the corporate media. Credible economists warning that a banking crisisa sovereign debt crisis and ultimately a monetary crisis were on the horizon. Prominent researchers projecting more riots and unrest and potentially a civil war.The U.N. calling for urgent action to avert a global food emergency. And world leaders warning that military conflict between the United States and China “was no longer inconceivable”.Then of course we had the COVID-19 debacle. Though the ‘authorities’ would blame the disease itself, it was their ill-conceived response that actually served as the catalyst. Their short sighted policies initiated a chain reaction. Some consequences of this chain reaction are inevitable (like a bullet that has left the barrel of a gun). Others hang in the balance. There will not, however, be any going back to normal. This story has a silver lining; a chance to make the world a better place. But it has to start with an honest assessment of how we got here, and point to a positive course of action. In the winter of 2020 as COVID-19 went exponential a panic was spreading even faster. Borders around the globe slammed shut in rapid succession and the vast majority of the world’s population was placed under some form of curfew or stay at home order. Businesses deemed non-essential were shutteredEvents cancelled. Gatherings banned. In some countries people weren’t even allowed outside to exercise. The public accepted these policies at first because they were led to believe they would only last a few weeks. But as weeks became months, and infections soared in spite of summer temperatures it became clear that the lockdowns were never going to eradicate this virus. At best they would slow or delay the spread. And at what cost? Those who hatched this plan had made no provision for a pandemic that would linger on for months or years. They didn’t even account for the socioeconomic chain reaction that the first round of lock downs would set in motion. With businesses shuttered and movement highly restricted, millions were left unemployed virtually overnight. The scale and speed of these job losses broke all previous records. Even the great depression didn’t come close.By the summer of 2020 flash points of violence and social unrest were flaring up in cities around the world. Pent up frustrations were building, for obvious reasons. Billions of people had just spent months locked in their houses. Millions had been thrown into extreme poverty. Most stress relieving activities had been banned: social gatherings, sports, time with friends at restaurants or bars… even places of worship were restricted. This was a powder keg waiting for a match.Politicians obviously saw the danger in this equation. When millions of people are suddenly left hungry and homeless that’s a recipe for revolution. Something had to be done, and quickly. So they did something. Boy did they do something. When all you have is a hammer every problem looks like a nail, and the governments around the world were looking at a very, very large nail. The fiscal stimulus programs of 2020 were epic; absolutely off the charts. By June over 18 trillion had been disbursed globally. Some of this stimulus came in the form of checks sent directly to every single taxpayer. In the U.S. these checks shipped with a autograph of Donald J. Trump… so you would know who to thank.Unemployment benefits were also expanded in many countries. In the United States for example unemployed workers were given an extra 600 dollars a week. This meant that many were earning more staying home than they had been on the job. In fact personal income in the United States soared by 10.5 percent in April; the largest monthly increase ever recorded. Then there were the forgivable loans — via the paycheck protection program and similar schemes around the world — which were supposed to help prop up small businesses. Some of these loans ended up being extended to some rather strange small businesses. For example the Church of Scientology got a check, as did the Catholic Church which landed a nifty 1.4 billion (some of which was distributed directly to dioceses which were facing bankruptcy due to clergy sex abuse settlements). In the U.K. their version of the program approved a loan of 340,000 pounds to a company that hosts sex parties for the rich and famous. Seriously. You can’t make this shit up.These policies were obviously going to send national debts parabolic, but the reckoning would be delayed. At least for a little while.Central banks played a critical role in this delayed reckoning. As the historic stock market crash of February 2020 was unfolding, the Federal Reserve and their counterparts abroad were swinging their hammers in new and creative ways; injecting liquidity (aka money) into the system via asset markets. If you’ve never heard of Quantitative Easing (or QE) you might want to look that up.
The short version is that when central banks purchase assets new money is created. The money that is transferred to the asset holders account is literally typed into existence. These asset holders typically reinvest this new money, causing asset prices (including the stocks) to rise. Poor people don’t typically own these kinds of assets so it’s basically welfare for the rich. And while it’s wonderful that we can provide a such a nice safety net for the upper crust of society it does have one little side effect: inflating markets with liquidity creates asset bubbles. It’s like filling up a water balloon more and more… till its so big you can see through it. Sooner or later it always pops. It also has the effect of increasing wealth inequality… but that’s a feature not a bug.The first round of QE started in 2009 after the housing bubble collapsed. Cutting interest rates to zero just wasn’t enough. 2020 brought us round four (affectionately referred to by some as QE Infinity). In this round the Fed would take their liquidity experiment to a whole new level; buying financial assets never touched during QE1, 2, or 3 including corporate debt and etfs. In one month they purchased more assets than they had during the entire first year following the 2009 crisis. By the end of May they had over 7 trillion dollars worth sitting on their books. This new money fueled the most powerful stock rally in history. Retail investors piled in. Even the stocks of companies that had declared bankruptcy were flying high. What could possibly go wrong? With unemployment numbers still hovering at great depression levels and hopes of a quick, V-shaped recovery evaporating, all eyes were on governments and central banks. The question was not if there would be more stimulus and money printing, the real question was how big it would be this time. Would it be enough? No one seemed to be asking what would happen if they went too far.Our fearless leaders had painted themselves into a corner at this point. If unemployment benefits, mortgage forbearance and eviction moratoriums weren’t extended, those in power would soon be facing millions of homelesshungry and angry people. With violence and unrest already smoldering in many major cities, this would be like throwing gasoline on a fire. Extending these protections however, would not be without a price.Eviction moratoriums and mortgage forbearance programs had temporarily prevented millions from being suddenly made homeless. But with no rent coming in, landlords would soon be defaulting on mortgages en masse, as would many homeowners and businesses. This tsunami of defaults and bankruptcies would shake the foundations of the banking system, which would of course prompt further interventions. But as governments and central banks reached for bigger and bigger bailout hammers a monetary reckoning was rapidly approaching. And the Dollar’s world reserve currency status was in play. For decades the dollar’s world reserve currency status had enabled Washington to run up its national debt at everyone else’s expense, and punish any nation that didn’t tow the line with unilateral sanctions (they even sanctioned the ICC for investigating war crimes committed by the U.S. military). This era of exorbitant privilege, however, was coming to an end.A growing hub of powerful countries had organizing behind the scenes for years; the groundwork for a currency insurrection was already laid.Russia and China were the driving forces of this insurrection. For years, both countries had aggressively increased gold reserves and offloaded U.S. debt in a gradual process of de-dollarization, however in 2018 they crossed the rubicon; Russia by launching an alternative to the SWIFT payment system which allowed countries to bypass U.S. sanctions and China by introducing the PetroYuan which would compete directly with the petrodollar.China was also in the process developing a digital currency (aka the e-Yuan) that bypassed the need for banks all together. Transfers relied only on an app on your phone. By July of 2020 China was already testing this new currency at scale. It was only a matter of time before the digital yuan would be competing with the U.S. dollar globally. It was this emerging threat to the dollar that motivated Washington to lash out in a series of desperate and ill conceived provocations. For example the Hong Kong Autonomy act, which the U.S. congress passed with a veto proof margin and was signed by Trump on July 14th, represented a serious escalation.By imposing sanctions on any individual, company or bank which did business with Chinese officials enforcing the new security law, this legislation set the stage for Washington to cut China’s access to the dollar; a move which would ultimately divide the world into Yuan and Dollar based currency blocs. Spoiler alert: it doesn’t end well for Uncle Sam.These economic provocations were accompanied by multiple rounds of good old fashion saber rattling. On July 13th, of 2020 when the Trump administration announced that the U.S. had decided to reject nearly all of China’s claims in the South China Sea, what this really meant was that the U.S. was going to intentionally violate airspace and waters around the artificial islands China had built up in the disputed zone, essentially daring the Chinese to do something. It’s worth noting that by this time these islands were fully militarized and operational; complete with ports, runways and other facilities that gave the Chinese a clear strategic advantage. At this stage the rest of the world was beginning to suspect that Uncle Sam was experiencing some form of cognitive decline. He wasn’t playing four dimensional chess here. He didn’t even seem to be playing with a full deck. This was like a drunk guy poking a tiger with a stick (probably not going to end well). The provocations would continue on multiple fronts: embassies ordered to close, Chinese companies sanctioned or banned from operating in the U.S. Anything and everything connected to China was open game.China condemned each of these provocations but they didn’t take the bait. Their response would come when was in their strategic interests. They would choose their own timing. If direct conflict could be averted long enough, the U.S. was likely to collapse on its own. The war could be won without firing a shot.Thucydides Trap: The high probability of war when an emerging power threatens the dominance of an international hegemon. As often happens when a declining empire is faced with an ascending rival, the United States was rushing headlong into Thucydides trap. Those in power tend to try to stay in power by any and all means. When all else fails pick a fight.Would it be ChinaIran? Some country on Russia’s border? Eeny, meeny, miny, mo.Meanwhile back in the U.S. of A. the violence and mayhem in the streets was intensifying. Businesses, government buildings and vehicles had been burning virtually every night for months on end. Protesters and counter protesters were now bringing semiautomatic weapons to the scene. By September there were multiple fatalities on each side.Perception of these events was increasingly polarized. The left and the right were no long behaving like political factions of a nation. They had devolved into hostile tribes fighting for control of a territory.A radicalized strain of thought that directly endorsed violence as a political tool was metastasizing among a new generation of activists. A growing contingent had convinced themselves that they could win in an armed conflict. This was a serious miscalculation.(If you try to outgun the police and the military you’re gonna have a bad time). Here humanity approached a crossroad. Probabilities were coalescing as the crisis progressed. Those who saw the stakes would feel an urgency. With every moment of inaction the likelihood of a tragic ending increased. Something had to be done. But what? What could an ordinary individual do to improve the outcome? Could the trajectory of history really be altered? Some questions are best answered with a riddle. Rather than predicting what comes next, let’s tell a story. This story has multiple endings and you get to choose.Story TimeIt’s been said that every nation is three meals away from a revolution. Never before had this principle been tested in so many countries simultaneously as it was in the 2020s.At first many held onto the hope that everything would soon go back to normal, but as the long term realities of the decade set in, more and more people would come to the same startling conclusion: the ‘authorities’ were out of their depth. There was no exit strategy. The situation was not ‘under control’.In the early stages of the crisis, when the first few governments were collapsing, very few realized how the conflux of economic, geopolitical and social variables were coalescing in a perfect storm. But when G20 nations started dropping like flies the phenomenon it became impossible to ignore. Like dominoes falling, the collapse of one major economy destabilized every country connected to it. In the age of globalization very few would be spared. What began as a trickle suddenly accelerated as the downfall of the U.S. dollar precipitated an unprecedented shock to global supply chains. Imports ground to a halt all around the world. In countries dependent on outsourced food production and manufacturing this translated into widespread shortages and social unrest. In this environment extremist movements of all stripes flourished.A small handful of nations would weather this storm peacefully. Rather than tearing themselves apart from within or transforming into totalitarian dictatorships, they would unify and adapt. As economic and monetary shocks disrupted global supply chains and trade, these countries would quickly reorganize their economies to replace imports with local production — starting with food and essentials. Reducing dependence on fossil fuels was an important element of this transition. To accomplish this feat every aspect of modern life was reimagined. Lawns were replaced by gardens; golf courses converted to orchards. Waste streams were recuperated to minimize losses. It wasn’t easy, but these countries pulled through, and before the decade was over, they were building regional trade networks that hadn’t existed before the crisis.A lot of wealthy countries didn’t do so well in the second phase of the crisis; the part where real hardship kicked in. Populations accustomed to easy living and constant entertainment had a very short fuse. As shortages and rationing became the new normal and homeless encampments grew, protests would morph into riots, armed uprisings and civil wars.Governments that were ill prepared for these challenges crumbled quickly; some into the hands of populist movements, others to military juntas. In most cases the replacement was more brutal and repressive that the old system. The underlying paradigm was rarely questioned at all. Many regimes would extend their lifespan by totalitarian means. Emergency powers established under lockdown would prove invaluable here. Policies previously justified by public health would now be implemented in the name of national security; control mechanisms adapted and repurposed to crack down on dissidents. It was every petty dictator’s wet dream: granular control over every aspect of human behavior and interaction. No one allowed to gather in public without permission. Every contact tracked and traced. If you’re outside you better be prepared to show your papers. This approach was most effective when the latent fears and hatreds of the population could be rallied against an enemy. Convince a people that they are under attack and it’s easy to unify them under a flag.Rather than rioting in the streets, impoverished youth can be conscripted into the military. Their identities shattered and remolded; conditioned to obey; trained to kill on command. Send them abroad to steal land and resources. Use them at home to crush dissent. War is — after all — the health of the state.Regardless of which axis prevailed in these conflicts the result would be the same. A new totalitarian order was the universal prescription; the only cure for the chaos. The world’s first truly global currency would replace the dollar. This currency would be completely digital; coins and bank notes phased out. Every single transaction conducted using this currency would be recorded on a block blockchain. Unlike the original cryptocurrencies this blockchain was controlled by a central authority and monitored with AI. Economic privacy a thing of the past.It was the holy grail of ruling elite, the precursor for global governance with teeth, but before they even had time to properly congratulate themselves, their house of cards was already catching wind.As living conditions deteriorate, and fear and uncertainty prevail, certain psychological forces are always unleashed. These forces are like the incoming waves of a tsunami. Once they gather momentum there can be no stopping them.Throughout history there have been individuals and movements who rode these waves; channeling the tides of human sentiment towards a course of action. Though the science of crowd psychology is complex and nuanced, the application of its principles is mind bogglingly simple. So simple in fact, that intellectuals typically recoil from them, while bonafide idiots wield them easily (and to great effect).Like riding a tsunami on a surfboard, attempting to redirect the momentum of a society is highly dangerous. The crowd can lift a leader to great heights, but one mistake can leave them hanging from a lamp post. Those who manage to navigate these forces usually guard the formula carefully. Failure to do so would threaten the foundations of their power. This time around however, humanity flipped the script. In the age of the internet the science of crowd psychology and color revolutions had been available to the public for some time now, but very few saw the utility in studying it. However as the 2020s progressed, and it became more and it became more clear that that those in power were pushing civilization toward a dystopian nightmare, a contingent of activists would reverse engineer the tools being used against them. The work of Gustave Le Bon and Edward Bernays would be modernized and tempered with a cultural code: the positive application of human instinct.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJ3RzGoQC4sVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: The Century of the Self (Full Documentary) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eJ3RzGoQC4s)The instinctual psychology of species can be harnessed for good or for evil. In the modern era it has been weaponized by the military industrial complex for regime change, and by corporations for marketing and public relations. The same principles however can applied to create rather than destroy. Visions and values can spread like viruses from mind to mind, and from place to place. The contagion of a single idea can inspire generations towards a new paradigm. To topple a government is surprisingly easy when conditions are right. Silver spoon politicians who’ve never served or worked a day in their life can easily lose the respect and obedience of military and law enforcement. When that happens, it’s game over. The question that always comes up in such events (usually as an afterthought) is what will you replace the old system with?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpXbA6yZY-8Video can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Does the USA Sponsor Revolutions? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpXbA6yZY-8)There is nothing more dangerous than armed men with utopian dreams. Sometimes the cure can be worse than the disease. History provides many cautionary tales. To avoid the trap of oppressed rising up to become the oppressor the paradigm that facilitates this dynamic has to be questioned. The vast majority of modern governments, businesses and organizations utilize a social structure called vertical collectivism. Vertical collectivism is top down system of organizing human groups which amplifies power by stacking layers of authority in pyramids. The result is a highly stratified society where those on the bottom have little or no say, and are left to fight over scraps from above.Vertical collectivism is apolitical. Capitalists companies and Communist regimes both use it without contradiction, as do republics that call themselves democracies. The vertical model was born of military strategy. A general or warlord alone can only control a small army, but by using subordinate officers in layers of rank, a single individual, or a small ruling class can dominate millions of people and vast territories. This is why a state is often defined as the monopoly on violence within a region.Vertical collectivism didn’t spread to every corner of the globe because it improved peoples lives. In fact modern anthropologists acknowledge that the transition to this way of life was associated with reduced life expectancy and a decline in virtually all measures in health (up until very recently). Vertical collectivism spread like a cancer because it is brutally effective in the in the context of war. Every culture that it encountered was either crushed on the battlefield or forced to copy the model to survive. The dawn of civilization — as many euphemistically refer to it — is a story of conquest and colonialization that began approximately 10,000 years ago and continues to this day. This was not however, the beginning of the human story. For over 300,000 years — long before the first empires of Asia and Europe began to absorb surrounding tribes — humans organized themselves using a very different model. Rather than building top down, stratified societies that concentrated wealth and power in the hands of an upper class, these cultures organized horizontally.Organizing horizontally didn’t mean that there were no leaders. The authority and instincts are far older than humanity. Like all social animals, our species is hardwired to follow those who demonstrate courage and intelligence. However in horizontal societies disparities of wealth and power were significantly smaller. The leaders and councils responsible for group decisions were not insulated by armies and law enforcement conditioned to obey without question. Defense and order were maintained by an armed citizenry, bound by a code of conduct. This dynamic forced leaders to be directly accountable to the population. Their power was rooted in their ability to communicate with the people, build consensus and chart a course of action to the benefit of all.The fact that horizontal societies required leaders to work with the public in such a personal way had one obvious disadvantage: it limited the size of the group. After all, why would someone voluntarily follow someone far away that they never met? There is however, a way around this limitation. By forming federations horizontal societies can expand their sphere influence significantly. An example of this adaptation can be found in the Iroquois confederacy which unified 5 tribes for hundreds of years in the region that came to be called New York. Each member tribe in the confederacy had their own culture and and internal governance, but a set of shared values enabled them to cooperate economically and militarily. If one tribe was attacked they quickly mounted a common defense. Many historians believe that United States federal system was based on the Iroquois model. One significant difference however, was that the Iroquois had no central government. There was a central council comprised of representatives from each tribe, but this council had no power to enforce its will. Each representative was tasked with building a consensus that would resonate with their people.A modernized adaptation of this Iroquois model gained traction in the mid 2020s as the gears of globalization ground to a halt. While governments proved incapable of solving the most basic problems, decentralized networks were replacing the system from the ground up. They would start by organizing local food production in their communities and gradually expand cooperation to other sectors.Their revolution was driven by an idea worth spreading. Not only was it possible to live on this planet without destroying it, this way of life was more abundant and fulfilling than the alternative. There was no need to wait for governments to act. Humans are perfectly capable of organizing themselves. Those that succeeded became epicenters of a new renaissance; attracting skilled workers and artists from all around the world. Some of these travelers would put down permanent roots. Others would return to their homeland to plant seeds of their own. From the fragments of fallen empires new nations would be born. From the ashes of dying cultures new cultures would rise. The great collapse of the 2020s was not the end of the world. However it’s important to understand that in the era we have entered the stakes are rising, and the trajectory we’re on needs to be altered significantly. This implies fundamental changes in the way we live, not just gestures in right direction. You have to decide what kind of story you and your family want to be a part of. In some cases this might involve immigrating to another country. Others will be more inclined to stay, and fight to change the outcome at home. One way or the other you’ll want to be in a place where you can grow food, and you’ll want to be set up to do this without agrochemical inputs or fossil fuels. You also don’t want to be reliant on the grid. Utilities can and will go down. Some will be shocked by how long they can stay down. These aren’t the kind of lifestyle changes you want to make at the last moment, or put off until you can do something large scale. Far better to start transitioning to a new way of life right now. Do what you can with what you have. Join forces with others to amplify. The learning curve for this kind of transition can be steep. There are a lot of practical skills that we should be taught in school but aren’t. Most kids when they graduate… don’t know how to build a house, or grow a garden, or even how to make bread. The best way to learn this stuff isn’t really in a classroom anyway. People learn best by example, anchored with hands on experience. That’s why we built this place. You could think of it as an experiential learning center / maker space. This whole landscape is a laboratory. Here we can put ideas to an extreme test.Rather that just reading about this stuff or watching a presentation, volunteers and travelers from all over the world come here to do it themselves. They get their hands dirty in the field: planting plants, working with animals, building crazy structures like these. They also get to experience first hand what it takes to self organize and live in a different way.The experience is extreme, because the challenges we face are real. We’re completely off-grid here. Our electricity comes from the sun. We have running water by pumping from the spring up to a tank on the hill. It’s also up to us to us to maintain the road and drainage. Up here when there’s a problem we have to put our heads together and find a way to solve it.To put this in perspective, our first long term volunteer was here when we sustained a direct hit from hurricane Maria. He also assisted in the recovery and became part of the story.Talk is cheap. If you really want to change the world you have to be able to show people how. We’re doing this here in the Commonwealth of Dominica cause these people are moving in the right direction, and their culture holds some of the keys to the solution. But where ever you decide to make your stand now is the time to get serious about food security. Our challenge in the next phase is to grow more and develop local production systems to replace imports. Some will have a chance to collaborate onsite. Others will integrate this information and use it creatively; writing themselves into the story in unpredictable ways. Those who pay close attention and pause often will discover easter eggs; clues with consequences in the real world. If you agree with the message, it’s up to you to make it spread. The Real Reason The U.S. Wants Regime Change in VenezuelaPosted: 02 Feb 2019 01:27 PM PSThttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_2sf6qnuNUVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: The REAL Reason The U.S. Wants Regime Change in Venezuela (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_2sf6qnuNU)On January 23rd, 2019 Venezuela’s opposition leader Juan Guaidó declared himself acting president, and called on the armed forces to disobey the government. Very few had ever heard of this man — he had never actually run for president. Guaidó is the head of Venezuela’s national assembly; a position very similar to speaker of the house.Within minutes of this declaration U.S. president Donald Trump took to twitter and recognized Guaidó as interim president of Venezuela; writing off the administration of Nicolas Maduro as “illegitimate”. U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo followed by urging Venezuela’s military to “restore democracy”, affirming that the US would back Mr Guaidó in his attempts to establish a government. They also promised 20 million dollars in “humanitarian” aid. To put this into context, Trump is on record saying he was “Not Going to Rule Out a Military Option” in Venezuela.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_2sf6qnuNUVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: The REAL Reason The U.S. Wants Regime Change in Venezuela (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_2sf6qnuNU)This is roughly the equivalent of Nancy Pelosi or Mitch Mcconnell declaring themselves president, calling on the military to overthrow Trump, and having China pledge to fund and assist the effort. Now if you happen to be in the camp that wouldn’t actually mind seeing Donald Trump forcibly removed from office, I would encourage you to imagine replacing Trump’s name with Obama, Bush, Merkel or Macron. You know there have been a lot of protests in France, and the Yellow Vests have demanded that Macron step down… Why don’t we restore democracy in Paris? If Donald Trump can decide on a whim which leaders are legitimate, and which will be deposed-by-tweet, what kind of precedent does that set? And who’s next? The grand irony here, is that the exact same media outlets who blasted Trump as a “illegitimate president whose election is tainted by fraud”, are now calling his regime change ambitions in Venezuela “bold”. Not only have they refused to criticize the move, but in fact they’re hailing this as a “potential foreign policy victory” and “a political win at home”.Let’s get this straight. Trump is an illegitimate president and should be removed from office (because of Russian interference), but you’re perfectly comfortable with that same illegitimate president toppling foreign governments via twitter?Though support for Guaidó was quickly parroted by Washington’s most dependable allies, and lauded by virtually every western media outlet, the Venezuelan military responded by condemning the coup, and reconfirmed their loyalty to Maduro.Russia, China and Turkey also issued statements condemning U.S. meddling, and warned against further interference. By January 25th, reports were flowing in that as many as 400 Russian military contractors were already on the ground. (Well that escalated quickly.)That same day Pompeo announced that Elliott Abrams — the man who oversaw regime change wars in Nicaragua and El Salvador, was deeply involved in the Iran Contra scandal, and who was an architect of both the Iraq war and the 2002 coup attempt in Venezuela (which culminated in the kidnapping of Maduro’s predecessor Hugo Chavez) — would be in charge of the effort to “restore democracy and prosperity to their country”.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYT8IX14W44&t=326sVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: W57th Nicaraguan Contra Atrocities (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYT8IX14W44&t=326s)So why do you suppose Washington really wants regime change in Venezuela? You’d have to be pretty naive to buy the “democracy and prosperity” drivel. The Trump administration slams Maduro as authoritarianwhile cuddling up to Mohammad Bin Salman, a mass murdering dictator known to dismember reporters he doesn’t like. They talk about how the Venezuelan economy is in shambles, but by their own admission (and according to the U.N.) U.S. sanctions have played a significant role in creating that situation.Might the real motive have something to do with the fact that Venezuela is sitting on the world’s largest proven oil reserves, and that Western oil companies were kicked out of the country in 2007?Let’s ask Donald Trump:“With respect to Libya… I’m interested in Libya if we take the oil. If we don’t take the oil no interest. We have to have… Look, if we have wars, we have to win the war. What we do is take over the country and hand the keys to people who don’t like us. I’ll tell you what… Iraq, 100% Iran takes over Iraq after we leave, and what really happens with Iraq is they want the oil fields. And I have it on very good authority that Iran probably won’t even be shooting a bullet because they are getting along better with the Iraqi leaders better than we are. After all of those lives, and after all of the money we spent. And if that’s going to happen we take the oil.”If you think this was a one off quote watch this one:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8a5JYRkweCMVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Donald Trump: “I’m Only Interested in Libya if We Take the Oil” – WSJ.com (not a perfect copy) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8a5JYRkweCM)Maduro’s predecessor Hugo Chavez nationalized the oil industry and used the proceeds to fund his socialist vision for the country. Now you could make the case that this vision was flawed, and horribly mismanaged, however he had strong public support for this mandate; so much support in fact, that when U.S. backed coup plotters kidnapped Hugo Chavez in 2002 crowds took to the streets en mass and he was quickly reinstated.Which brings us back to Juan Guaidó. There’s not much information available on Mr. Guaidó, but if you look up the man who tapped him to lead the opposition party Voluntad Popular you’ll find Washington’s fingerprints all over the place. Leopoldo Lopez, the founder of Voluntad Popular, orchestrated the protests in 2002 that led up to the kidnapping of Hugo Chavez. It’s no secret that the U.S. has been funding Voluntad Popular for years. In fact up until recently you could still find documents on state.gov which admit to routing at least 5 million dollars to “support political competition-building efforts” (fortunately we can still view the archived version of the file). Nor is it a secret that U.S. officials met with coup plotters in 2018. But if there were any doubt that Guaidó is Washington’s puppet, Mike Pence’s call the day before the coup assuring U.S. support should lay that to rest.“But Maduro’s a bad leader!”Compared to who? Which paragon of good governance will we refer to as the model? Trump? Theresa May? Angel Merkel? Macron? Take your time. This isn’t democracy, it’s a neo-colonial power grab. Juan Guaidó never ran for the office he claimed, and the fact that he directly colluded with a foreign nation to overthrow the man who was elected president marks him as a traitor.Juan Guaidó is a puppet. If installed, he will serve the interests who bought his ticket. Venezuela’s oil industry will be privatized, and the profits will be sucked out of the country by western corporations. What’s happening in Venezuela right now is a replay of the 1973 U.S. backed coup in Chile, where the democratically elected president of Chile, Salvador Allende, was overthrown, and replaced with the military dictatorship of Pinochet. Pinochet murdered over 3000 political opponents during his rule, and tortured over 30,000, but he was friendly to American business interests so Washington looked the other way.One could make the case that Maduro is incompetent. One could make the case that his economic theories are trash. (The same can be said for the haircuts in suits calling for his removal.) But the reality of the matter is that unless you happen to be a Venezuelan citizen, how Venezuela is governed is actually none of your business.Given how things turned out in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, and Ukraine you’d think people would get the hint. When it comes to spreading democracy, you suck. U.S. regime change operations have left nothing but chaos, death and destruction in their wake. If you want to make the world a better place, maybe, just maybe, you should start at home. The Covert Origins of ISISPosted: 28 Aug 2014 02:04 AM PDThttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMjXbuj7BPIVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: The Covert Origins of ISIS (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMjXbuj7BPI)The Islamic militant group ISIS, formerly known as Al-Qaeda in Iraq, and recently rebranded as the so called Islamic State, is the stuff of nightmares. They are ruthless, fanatical, killers, on a mission, and that mission is to wipe out anyone and everyone, from any religion or belief system and to impose Shari’ah law. The mass executions, beheadings and even crucifixions that they are committing as they work towards this goal are flaunted like badges of pride, video taped and uploaded for the whole world to see. This is the new face of evil.Would it interest you to know who helped these psychopaths rise to power? Would it interest you to know who armed them, funded them and trained them? Would it interest you to know why? This story makes more sense if we start in the middle, so we’ll begin with the overthrow of Muammar Gaddafi in 2011.The Libyan revolution was Obama’s first major foreign intervention. It was portrayed as an extension of the Arab Spring, and NATO involvement was framed in humanitarian terms. The fact that the CIA was actively working to help the Libyan rebels topple Gaddafi was no secret, nor were the airstrikes that Obama ordered against the Libyan government. However, little was said about the identity or the ideological leanings of these Libyan rebels. Not surprising, considering the fact that the leader of the Libyan rebels later admitted that his fighters included Al-Qaeda linked jihadists who fought against allied troops in Iraq. These jihadist militants from Iraq were part of what national security analysts commonly referred to as Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Remember Al-Qaeda in Iraq was ISIS before it was rebranded. With the assistance of U.S. and NATO intelligence and air support, the Libyan rebels captured Gaddafi and summarily executed him in the street, all the while enthusiastically chanting “Allah Akbar”. For many of those who had bought the official line about how these rebels were freedom fighters aiming to establish a liberal democracy in Libya, this was the beginning of the end of their illusions. http://www.liveleak.com/ll_embed?f=f80eab4dcbf6Prior to the U.S. and NATO backed intervention, Libya had the highest standard of living of any country in Africa. This according to the U.N.’s Human Development Index rankings for 2010. However in the years following the coup, the country descended into chaos, with extremism and violence running rampant. Libya is now widely regarded as failed state (of course those who were naive enough to buy into the propaganda leading up to the war get defensive when this is said). Now after Gaddafi was overthrown, the Libyan armories were looted, and massive quantities of weapons were sent by the Libyan rebels to Syria. The weapons, which included anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles were smuggled into Syria through Turkey, a NATO ally. The times of London reported on the arrival of the shipment on September 14th, 2012. (Secondary confirmation in this NYT article) This was just three days after Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed by the attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi. Chris Stevens had served as the U.S. government’s liaison to the Libyan rebels since April of 2011.While a great deal media attention has focused on the fact that the State Department did not provide adequate security at the consulate, and was slow to send assistance when the attack started, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh released an article in April of 2014 which exposed a classified agreement between the CIA, Turkey and the Syrian rebels to create what was referred to as a “rat line”. The “rat line” was covert network used to channel weapons and ammunition from Libya, through southern turkey and across the Syrian border. Funding was provided by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. With Stevens dead any direct U.S. involvement in that arms shipment was buried, and Washington would continue to claim that they had not sent heavy weaponry into Syria. It was at this time that jihadist fighters from Libya began flooding into Syria as well. And not just low level militants. Many were experienced commanders who had fought in multiple theaters. The U.S. and its allies were now fully focused on taking down Assad’s government in Syria. As in Libya this regime change was to be framed in terms of human rights, and now overt support began to supplement the backdoor channels. The growing jihadist presence was swept under the rug and covered up.However as the rebels gained strength, the reports of war crimes and atrocities that they were committing began to create a bit of a public relations problem for Washington. It then became standard policy to insist that U.S. support was only being given to what they referred to as “moderate” rebel forces. This distinction, however, had no basis in reality. In an interview given in April of 2014, FSA commander Jamal Maarouf admitted that his fighters regularly conduct joint operations with Al-Nusra. Al-Nusra is the official Al-Qa’ida branch in Syria. This statement is further validated by an interview given in June of 2013 by Colonel Abdel Basset Al-Tawil, commander of the FSA’s Northern Front. In this interview he openly discusses his ties with Al-Nusra, and expresses his desire to see Syria ruled by sharia law. (You can verify the identities of these two commanders here in this document from The Institute for the Study of War)https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYIdmlk2gAUVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: FSA General Gives Int’l Community One Month to Provide Anti Tank, Anti Aircraft Weapons (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYIdmlk2gAU)Moderate rebels? Well it’s complicated. Not that this should really come as any surprise. Reuters had reported in 2012 that the FSA’s command was dominated by Islamic extremists, and the New York Times had reported that same year that the majority of the weapons that Washington were sending into Syria was ending up in the hands Jihadists. For two years the U.S. government knew that this was happening, but they kept doing it.And the FSA’s ties to Al-Nusra are just the beginning. In June of 2014 Al-Nusra merged with ISIS at the border between Iraq and Syria. So to review, the FSA is working with Al-Nusra, Al-Nusra is working with ISIS, and the U.S. has been sending money and weapons to the FSA even though they’ve known since 2012 that most of these weapons were ending up in the hands of extremists. You do the math.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8kKCCnOm1YVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Retired General McInerney Says U.S. Helped Build #ISIS (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_8kKCCnOm1Y)Syria, we backed I believe, in some cases some of the wrong people and not in the right part of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) that’s a little confusing to people. So I’ve always maintained, and go back quite some time that we were backing the wrong types. I think it’s going to turn out maybe this weekend in a new special that Brett Baer is going to have Friday that’s gonna show some of those weapons from Benghazi ended up in the hands of ISIS. So we helped build ISIS.In that context, the sarin gas attacks of 2013 which turned out to have been committed by the Syrian rebels, makes a lot more sense doesn’t it? If it wasn’t enough that U.N. investigatorsRussian investigators, and Pulitzer prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh all pinned that crime on Washington’s proxies, the rebels themselves threatened the West that they would expose what really happened if they were not given more advanced weaponry within one month.By the way, this also explains why Washington then decided to target Russia next. This threat was made on June 10th, 2013. In what can only be described as an amazing coincidence, just nine days later, the rebels received their first official shipment of heavy weapons in Aleppo. After the second sarin gas fiasco, which was also exposed and therefore failed to garner public support for airstrikes, the U.S. continued to increase its the training and support for the rebels.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkamZg68jpkVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: The Syrian War What You’re Not Being Told (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkamZg68jpk)In February of 2014, Haaretz reported that the U.S. and its allies in the region, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel, were in the process of helping the Syrian rebels plan and prepare for a massive attack in the south. According to Haaretz Israel had also provided direct assistance in military operations against Assad four months prior (you can access a free cached version of the page here). Then in May of 2014 PBS ran a report in which they interviewed rebels who were trained by the U.S. in Qatar. According to those rebels they were being trained to finish off soldiers who survived attacks.“They trained us to ambush regime or enemy vehicles and cut off the road,” said the fighter, who is identified only as “Hussein.” “They also trained us on how to attack a vehicle, raid it, retrieve information or weapons and munitions, and how to finish off soldiers still alive after an ambush.”This is a blatant violation of the Geneva conventions. It also runs contrary to conventional military strategy. In conventional military strategy soldiers are better off left wounded, because this ends up costing the enemy more resources. Executing captured enemy soldiers is the kind of tactic used when you want to strike terror in the hearts of the enemy. It also just happens to be standard operating procedure for ISIS.One month after this report, in June of 2014, ISIS made its dramatic entry, crossing over the Syrian border into Iraq, capturing Mosul, Baiji and almost reaching Baghdad. The internet was suddenly flooded with footage of drive by shootings, large scale death marches, and mass graves. And of course any Iraqi soldier that was captured was executed.Massive quantities of American military equipment were seized during that operation. ISIS took entire truckloads of humvees, they took helicopters, tanks, and artillery. They photographed and video taped themselves and advertised what they were doing on social media, and yet for some reason Washington didn’t even TRY to stop them.U.S. military doctrine clearly calls for the destruction of military equipment and supplies when friendly forces cannot prevent them from falling into enemy hands, but that didn’t happen here. ISIS was allowed to carry this equipment out of Iraq and into Syria unimpeded. The U.S. military had the means to strike these convoys, but they didn’t lift a finger, even though they had been launching drone strikes in Pakistan that same week. Why would they do that?Though Obama plays the role of a weak, indecisive, liberal president, and while pundits from the right have had a lot of fun with that image, this is just a facade. Some presidents, like George W. Bush, rely primarily on overt military aggression. Obama gets the same job done, but he prefers covert means. Not really surprising considering the fact that Zbigniew Brzezinski was his mentor.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASlETEx0T-IVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Obama: I’ve learned an immense amount from Dr. Brzezinski (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASlETEx0T-I)Those who know their history will remember that Zbigniew Brzezinski was directly involved in the funding and arming the Islamic extremists in Pakistan and Afghanistan in order to weaken the Soviets.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYvO3qAlyTgVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Zbigniew Brzezinski Taliban Pakistan Afghanistan pep talk 1979 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYvO3qAlyTg)By the way Osama bin Laden was one of these anti-Soviet “freedom fighters” the U.S. was funding and arming. This operation is no secret at this point, nor are the unintended side effects.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dqn0bm4E9ywVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Hillary Clinton : We created Al-Qaeda (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dqn0bm4E9yw)Officially the U.S. government’s arming and funding of the Mujahideen was a response to the Soviet invasion in December of 1979, however in his memoir entitled “From the Shadows” Robert Gates, director of the CIA under Ronald Reagan and George Bush Senior, and Secretary of Defense under both George W. Bush and Barack Obama, revealed that the U.S. actually began the covert operation 6 months prior, with the express intention of luring the Soviets into a quagmire. (You can preview the relevant text here on google books)The strategy worked. The Soviets invaded, and the ten years of war that followed are considered by many historians as being one of the primary causes of the fall of the USSR.This example doesn’t just establish precedent, what we’re seeing happen in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria right now is actually a continuation of a old story. Al-Nusra and ISIS are ideological and organizational decedents of these extremist elements that the U.S. government made use of thirty years ago.The U.S. the went on to create a breeding ground for these extremists by invading Iraq in 2003. Had it not been for the vacuum of power left by the removal and execution of Saddam, Al-Qaeda in Iraq, aka ISIS, would not exist. And had it not been for Washington’s attempt at toppling Assad by arming, funding and training shadowy militant groups in Syria, there is no way that ISIS would have been capable of storming into Iraq in June of 2014.On every level, no matter how you cut it, ISIS is a product of U.S. government’s twisted and decrepit foreign policy. Now all of this may seem contradictory to you as you watch the drums of war against ISIS begin to beat louder and the air strikes against them are gradually widened (http://www.wjla.com/articles/2014/08/president-obama-considers-possible-airstrikes-in-syria-against-isil-s-terrorist-army–106516.html). Why would the U.S. help a terrorist organization get established, only to attack them later?Well why did the CIA put Saddam Hussein in power in 1963?, Why did the U.S. government back Saddam in 1980 when he launched a war of aggression against Iran, even though they knew that he was using chemical weapons? Why did the U.S. fund and arm Islamic extremists in Afghanistan against the Soviets? There’s a pattern here if you look closely. This is a tried and true geopolitical strategy.Step 1: Build up a dictator or extremist group which can then be used to wage proxy wars against opponents. During this stage any crimes committed by these proxies are swept under the rug. [Problem]Step 2: When these nasty characters have outlived their usefulness, that’s when it’s time to pull out all that dirt from under the rug and start publicizing it 24/7. This obviously works best when the public has no idea how these bad guys came to power.[Reaction]Step 3: Finally, when the public practically begging for the government to do something, a solution is proposed. Usually the solution involves military intervention, the loss of certain liberties, or both. [Solution]ISIS is extremely useful. They have essentially done Washington dirty work by weakening Assad. In 2014, while the news cycle has focused almost exclusively on Ukraine and Russia, ISIS made major headway in Syria, and as of August they already controlled 35% of the country.Since ISIS largely based in Syria, this gives the U.S. a pretext to move into Syria. Sooner or later the U.S. will extend the airstrikes into Assad’s backyard, and when they do U.S. officials are already making it clear that both ISIS and the Syrian government will be targeted. That, after all, is the whole point. Washington may allow ISIS to capture a bit more territory first, but the writing is on the wall, and has been for some time now.The Obama administration has repeatedly insisted that this will never lead to boots on the ground, however, the truth of the matter is that anyone who understands anything about military tactics knows full well that ISIS cannot be defeated by airstrikes alone. In response to airstrikes ISIS will merely disperse and conceal their forces. ISIS isn’t an established state power which can be destroyed by knocking out key government buildings and infrastructure. These are guerrilla fighters who cut their teeth in urban warfare. To significantly weaken them, the war will have to involve ground troops, but even this is a lost cause. U.S. troops could certainly route ISIS in street to street battles for some time, and they might even succeed in fully occupying Syria and Iraq for a number of years, but eventually they will have to leave, and when they do, it should be obvious what will come next. The puppets that the U.S. government has installed in the various countries that they have brought down in recent years have without exception proven to be utterly incompetent and corrupt. No one that Washington places in power will be capable of maintaining stability in Syria. Period. ISIS in Iraq – What You’re Not Being ToldPosted: 17 Jun 2014 01:51 AM PDThttp://youtu.be/ey9tExYbjm8Video can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: The Fall of Iraq – What You Aren’t Being Told (http://youtu.be/ey9tExYbjm8)In June of 2014 the world watched in shock as an Islamic militant group operating under the name of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (or ISIS), took control of Mosul, Baiji and Tikrit and began pushing south to Baghdad. Fallujah has been under their control since January.Iraqi military and police put up very little resistance in spite of the fact that they greatly outnumbered the militants. Most fled their posts and left their uniforms and weapons behind, those who didn’t were killed.ISIS, whose stated goal is to erase the border between Syria and Iraq, to establish an Islamic Caliphate encompassing both countries, and to impose sharia law, already holds vast swaths of territory, and they are rapidly gaining ground. How did this happen? That’s an extremely important question. How you answer it will determine what comes next, and not just in Iraq. That’s why the media spin doctors and politicians are out in force attempting to rewrite history, and turning reality completely on its head in the process. For example we have people insisting this is happening because the U.S. and NATO failed to intervene in Syria.Well that’s a convenient answer isn’t it?The U.S. and NATO have been actively working to topple Assad by arming and funding the Syrian rebels since 2011. This has developed into a bloody civil war which has attracted Jihadists from all over the world. It has also created a vacuum of power which enabled groups like ISIS, Al-Qaeda and Al-Nusra to organize and establish physical strongholds. The U.S. claims to only be arming the “moderate” rebels, however, the leadership of the Free Syrian Army (aka the FSA) has stated that they regularly carry out joint operations with Al-Qaeda and its affiliates. Up until recently ISIS was a branch of Al-Qaeda. In February of this year Al-Qaeda’s official leadership publicly disavowed ISIS due to their brutal tactics. That’s why ISIS is referred to as a splinter group. Furthermore, we know for a fact that the majority of the weapons and funding from the U.S. and its allies are ending up in the hands of Jihadists, and U.S. officials have been aware of this since 2012. But don’t take my word for it, go read this article from the New York Times yourself.Do the math folks. ISIS would have never gotten a foothold Syria if the U.S. hadn’t weakened the Syrian government, and the weapons they are using right now… were most likely paid for with your tax dollars. But wait, this isn’t just about Syria is it? It’s also about Iraq. Which brings us to the other deranged narrative that is being promoted right now: that this chaos is unfolding because U.S. military withdrew prematurely in 2011.You see Iraq is in ruins and unable to defend itself, because the U.S. military left the party too early. It’s not because the Bush administration and the mainstream media convinced the public that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction and was planning to use them. It’s not because the U.S. invaded Iraq on these false pretenses, disbanding the Iraqi army and police, and reducing the country to rubble in an attempt to put down the resulting insurgency. No, it’s because eight years of military occupation wasn’t enough. To those who fought there, it’s a punch in the gut to see your sacrifice was for nothing, but the occupation of Iraq was never going to end well, and the Bush administration knew that it wouldn’t. But don’t take my word for it. Let’s take a look at this clip of Dick Cheney from 1994.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YENbElb5-xYVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Cheney in 1994 on Iraq (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YENbElb5-xY)That was very astute Dick. You accurately predicted the mess you were going to help create in 2003. I would even venture to say that your predictions were more accurate than those who warned against this adventure. I’m impressed. Now you’ll notice that the talking heads of the left and the right are all trying to frame this crisis as the fault of the other side. They’re both right. Both sides of the aisle have blood on their hands, and this goes way beyond Bush and Obama. The United States has been tinkering in Iraq for a long, long time. In fact it was the CIA that put Saddam Hussein in power in 1963. Don’t take my word for it, go read this article from the New York Times. The U.S. government also backed Saddam in 1980 when he launched a war of aggression against Iran, even though they knew that he was using chemical weapons. But again don’t take my word for it, go read this article by Foreign Policy magazine.Fast forward to 1990. Saddam Hussein was embroiled in a dispute with Kuwait over oil prices and borders and he was considering taking action. Given America’s support in the war against Iran, Saddam had no reason to believe that Kuwait would be any different, but just to be sure, he decided to consult with Washington first. On July 25th of 1990 U.S. ambassador to Iraq April Glaspie met with Saddam Hussein. In the meeting Saddam described his case against Kuwait and told Glaspie that he viewed their activities as an act of military aggression. Glaspie responded by saying “We have no opinion on the Arab-Arab conflicts, like your border disagreement with Kuwait”, and she reinforced this by saying “this issue is not associated with America” Naturally Saddam interpreted this as a green light, and eight days later he invaded.Later, when questioned in hearings, Glaspie claimed that though this quote was accurate, she had followed it up by insisting that Iraq settle its dispute non-violently.However that’s not what shows up in the transcripts of the conversation released by the New York Times. According to the transcript she said “All that we hope is that these issues are solved quickly.”But maybe this was just an innocent diplomatic blunder right? Well not quite. As soon as Saddam entered Kuwait the U.S. government launched a very interesting propaganda campaign to build up public support for a war. They claimed that Iraqi troops were slaughtering little babies by throwing them out of their incubators in hospitals, and they brought in teary eyed witnesses who testified to having seen the massacres.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmfVs3WaE9YVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Nayirah Kuwaiti girl testimony (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LmfVs3WaE9Y)Just one problem… the entire event was fabricated. It never happened. This woman who presented herself as a witness was actually the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States and her testimony was part of a public relations campaign organized by a company called Hill and Knowlton.Once public support for the war was strong, the incubators story was dropped, and never mentioned again. The U.S. invaded Iraq in 1991. During that war the U.S. military utilized approximately 640,000 pounds of Depleted Uranium ammunition. The Iraq was decimated, but the U.S. left Saddam in power. The war didn’t ever really end though. The U.S. kept Iraq under a draconian sanctions regime that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of children. Clinton kept those sanctions in place for the entire duration of his presidency, and they knew what was happening.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RM0uvgHKZe8Video can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Madeleine Albright – The deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children was worth it for Iraq’s non existent WMD’s (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RM0uvgHKZe8)You know how they say “those who don’t know history are destined to repeat it”? That’s really not an exaggeration.Fast forward to 2003 and the Kuwaiti incubator story was swapped out for stories of mobile missile silos and yellow cake uranium. And when it turned out that those weapons of mass destruction didn’t exist, they acted like it was no big deal.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RC1Mepk_SwVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: General Wesley Clark: Wars Were Planned – Seven Countries In Five Years (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RC1Mepk_Sw)Then of course came Obama, riding in on promises of hope and change. But we saw how Obama toppled Libya in 2011, leaving that nation in utter chaos. Gaddafi was then killed in a rather gruesome fashion. Before NATO brought down Gaddafi Libya had the highest standard of living in all of Africa. Now it’s a perpetual war-zone. And of course we’ve seen how Obama funded and armed the Syrian rebels in an attempt to bring down Assad.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkamZg68jpkVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: The Syrian War What You’re Not Being Told (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkamZg68jpk)The pattern of deceit was the same, but this time the story fell apart when U.N. investigator Carla Del Ponte come out to say that the Syrian rebels were behind the sarin gas attacks.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rGTyY-uV0U&list=UUYvQOj-t4u5-QKGB3AuoLjwVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Syrie : Les charniers du djihad français (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rGTyY-uV0U&list=UUYvQOj-t4u5-QKGB3AuoLjw) The Ukraine Crisis – What You’re Not Being ToldPosted: 12 Mar 2014 04:37 PM PDTIn this video we’re going to provide you with compelling evidence that the crimes against humanity committed in Kiev earlier this year were in fact committed by the new coalition government and that officials in the E.U. and the United States knew full well who committed these crimes and that they are protecting and financially supporting the real criminals. On February 20th of 2014 the world was shocked by video footage of snipers firing on protesters in Kiev Ukraine. Twenty one people were murdered, and it was widely assumed that President Victor Yanukovich and his supporters were behind the attacks. However a phone conversation between EU foreign policy chief Cathy Ashton and Estonia’s foreign minister Urmas Paet leaked to the public on March 5th reveals that the snipers in were actually from the new coalition government, and that Western diplomats knew this and covered it up.The short version of the leaked call:Urmas Paet: “All the evidence shows that the people who were killed by snipers from both sides, among police men and people in the street, that they were the same snipers killing people from both sides.”
Cathy Ashton: “Well that’s, yeah…”
Urmas Paet: “And she also showed me some photos and she said that has medical doctor, she can say that it is the same handwriting…”
Cathy Ashton: “Yeah…”
Urmas Paet: “Same type of bullets… and it’s really disturbing that now the new coalition, that they don’t want to investigate what exactly happened. So that there is now stronger and stronger understanding that behind the snipers, it was not Yanukovich, but it was somebody from the new coalition.”The long version of the leaked call:For some reason the U.S. media didn’t think that little detail was worth covering. But wait… I thought the opposition were peaceful activists who just wanted a chance to join the European Union.Well yeah, that’s the official narrative that the U.S. media outlets are peddling, but real story is much more ominous. It turns out that the most powerful and influential contingent in the opposition is a coalition of literal fascists and Neo-Nazis, and they aren’t peaceful. In fact they are extremely brutal.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=5SBo0akeDMYVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Neo-Nazi threat in new Ukraine: NEWSNIGHT (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=5SBo0akeDMY)The most prominent among these groups is an organization called Svoboda. The Svoboda party which traces its roots to the Ukrainian partisan army of World War II, was loosely allied with Nazi Germany. Until 2004, Svoboda had been called the Social-Nationalist Party, a deliberate reference to the National Socialism of the Nazis. We’re not throwing the term Neo-Nazi around as an empty slur here. The leader of Svoboda, Oleh Tyahnybok, has openly targeted Jews and ethnic Russians in Ukraine for many years. In 2004 he was kicked out of Viktor Yushenko’s government for a speech calling for Ukrainians to fight against a “Muscovite-Jewish mafia”, and in 2005 he signed his name to an open letter to the leadership of Ukraine entitled “Stop the Criminal Activities of Organised Jewry”.And none of this was a secret. The BBC was already reporting on the danger that Svoboda’s rise posed back in 2012, and the EU passed a resolution that same year condemning Svoboda, as “racist, anti-Semitic and xenophobic”. Yet somehow the U.S. government thought it was appropriate to back these extremists.Victoria Nuland Ukraine With Neo Nazis Victoria Nuland With Ukrainian Neo NazisAbove are two pictures of Victoria Nuland from the U.S. State Department meeting with Oleh Tyahnybok. Below is a picture of Senator John McCain sharing a stage with Tyahnybok. They look friendly don’t they?Mccain Meets With Svoboda Neo NazisWhy would the U.S. government work with Neo-Nazis?Because they thought they could control the situation. They thought they could install their puppets behind the scenes and manipulate the situation in their favor. This isn’t just speculation. That same Victoria Nulland who met with Svoboda in February was caught in another leaked phone call discussing who would they would put in power.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QxZ8t3V_bkVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: Listen: Victoria Nuland Says F*CK The E.U. in Leaked Phone Call (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QxZ8t3V_bk)The mainstream media tried to draw your attention away from the important part of this conversation by focusing on the fact that she used a cuss word when referring to the E.U.
The U.S. government thought they could control this beast. But they were wrong. Svoboda and the Right Sektor are not toys to be played with. These groups are armed, they’re forceful, and they view this crisis as an opportunity to reshape Ukraine in their own image.Apparently the U.S. government has been a little slow to catch on to the fact that their hand has been exposed. In March a senior U.S. official told Reuters that “Since entering the Ukrainian Parliament in October 2012, the Svoboda leadership has been working to take their party in a more moderate direction and to become a modern, European mainstream political party, The leadership has been much more vigilant about expelling or otherwise punishing individual members who engage in xenophobic behavior or rhetoric.”So it’s ok to use known Neo-Nazi groups to topple a government as long as their leaders keep their people from saying anything stupid in front of cameras for a few months? The reality of the matter is that as ridiculous as this assertion makes Washington look, they are trapped. They can’t deny that Svoboda and the Right Sektor are running the coalition government when Svoboda holds five senior posts including the deputy prime minister position and the Right Sektor’s Dmytro Yarosh is now the country’s Deputy Secretary of National Security. But what about that dramatic video “I am a Ukrainian” that went viral as this crisis was unfolding. It was so compelling, so heart wrenching. Yeah, but who made it? Did you notice the link in the description? Awhispertoaroar… who are these people? Oh look, a link in the description. Let’s click it. They have a website and a behind the scenes section. Oh it list the film makers. Who’s this here? Larry Diamond, inspiration and executive producer. He’s also a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the National Endowment for Democracy and an advisor for the U.S. State Department. You know the funny thing about the National Endowment for Regime Change Democracy is that even though they call themselves an NGO they get virtually all of it’s money from the U.S. federal government. You can verify this by downloading their annual financial disclosures. I’m sure it’s just a coincidence that the NED has been pouring massive amounts of money into Ukraine to “strengthen democracy and civil society”?That sound nice doesn’t it? Democracy… civil society. Of course by now you’ve realized that when they talk about spreading democracy what they really mean is regime change, and they are willing to work with the most despicable elements when it’s expedient. It’s exactly the same game they played in Syria. The U.S. government funded known extremists, literal terrorist organizations who have been documented massacring whole towns. They gave them money, they gave them weapons, and even after those extremists used sarin gas on thousands of civilians and got caught by the U.N., Washington still covered for them. Even to this day they are still funding those murderers, they are still training them, and they are still sending them weapons. There’s a word for this kind of activity: state backed terrorism. But the situation in Ukraine didn’t unfold as planned. The parliament of Crimea, in the South of Ukraine voted to secede, and they are putting the decision up for a public referendum. The U.S. claims that this referendum is “unconstitutional” and says they won’t recognize Crimea’s decision as legitimate regardless of the outcome. So a foreign backed Neo-Nazi coup is constitutional, but a declaration of independence placed to a general vote is not? Seriously? That’s the best you guys can do? Who writes these scripts? The Syrian War – What You’re Not Being ToldPosted: 03 Sep 2013 02:52 AM PDThttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkamZg68jpkVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: The Syrian War What You’re Not Being Told (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dkamZg68jpk)The use of chemical weapons on civilians in the Syrian conflict was a crime against humanity. As such it should be the subject of a real criminal investigation, and those responsible should be brought to justice. However, if the U.S. and NATO have their way that’s not going to happen. In their book a simple accusation is as good as a conviction and therefore there’s no point providing any real evidence. Let’s just skip right to missile strikes shall we?This really isn’t surprising to anyone who’s been paying attention though. The United States has had Syria and Iran in their cross hairs for a long time. The plans for these wars have been in the works for over a decade.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RC1Mepk_SwVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: General Wesley Clark: Wars Were Planned – Seven Countries In Five Years (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RC1Mepk_Sw)There are three primary psychological techniques that the powers that be in any given era use to build up the public support needed to take a country to war:Create the impression that the aggressor is actually acting in self defense or in defense of a helpless nation. This can be done by exaggerating the danger posed by an enemy, fabricating an attack and blaming it on the enemy, or by intentionally provoking the enemy into a response.Build up a crusade mythology, one that presents the aggressors as fighting for a higher ideal, or for the good of all humanity. In our current era the meme of “Spreading Democracy”, “Fighting Terrorism” or “Defending human rights”are the most commonly used.De-humanize the enemy. War is mass murder, therefore presenting the enemy as evil, barbaric, or subhuman is essential unless you want your citizens and your soldiers questioning the morality of their actions. This pattern is often supported and augmented by a sense of cultural or racial superiority. The way Islamophobia is capitalized on to build moral support for this phony war on terror is a perfect example. The U.S. government has a long illustrious history of using these techniques, and they keep using them because they work.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySIiuej3hMsVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: WWIII – Israeli Lobbyist Advocates False Flag Attack To Start A War With Iran (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySIiuej3hMs)The United States has been trying to get Iran under its thumb for a long time. In 1953, the CIA and the UK’s MI6 organized a coup to topple the democratically elected prime minister of Iran Mohammad Mossadegh. They then installed the Shah as their puppet. The Shah, who also just happened to be brutal dictator, ruled until 1979 when he was overthrown during the Iranian revolution. The U.S. didn’t like that so they tried to take Iran down by arming and funding Saddam Hussein against the Iranians. This was during the Iranian Iraq war, also referred to as the first Persian Gulf War which lasted from 1980 to 1988. The U.S. continued its support for Iraq even though they knew full well that he was using chemical weapons against the Iranians. This now declassified top secret memo from Nov. 4, 1983 documents chemical weapons use by Iraq, and discusses Iran’s likely reactions. Here’s a second memo, written on Feb. 24, 1984 to the director of Central Intelligence predicting that Iraq will use nerve agents against Iran.Note that the source of these documents is Foreign Policy Magazine which is an extremely pro-establishment publication by any standards. In spite of this, friendly diplomatic relations between the U.S. and Saddam continued. This video of Donald Rumsfeld, then special envoy of President Ronald Reagan meeting with Saddam, was taken on December 20, 1983, which was after the first memo. This means that those running the U.S. knew Saddam was killing people with poison gas and they didn’t care. Taking down Iran was more important to the U.S. government than protecting human rights, and it still is.Saddam failed to defeat Iran, so the U.S. switched tactics, and for a long time they tried going after Iran directly by accusing them of building nuclear weapons in order to justify military strikes. However, this line of worn out propaganda didn’t gain any traction, largely because the U.S. government had lost most of its credibility in their trumped up claims about Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction. You can only cry wolf so many times before people start rolling their eyes.Their agenda fell apart completely when elements within the CIA and Mossad came forward stating that there was no evidence that Iran even intended to build such a weapon. Not to be deterred by little details like the truth, these chicken hawk neo-cons decided to go after Syria to get to Iran. They know that Syria and Iran have a mutual defense agreement and if NATO forces enter Syria Iran will be drawn into the fight, and then these little deranged psychopaths in suits will get their war.We still have to maintain appearances though, we wouldn’t want people to think this was about controlling the world’s oil supply and protecting the petrodollar would we? No, no, put those crazy conspiracy theories out of you mind. We’re here to spread democracy and freedom with 50 caliber machine guns and drone strikes. If it were obvious that the U.S. was attacking Syria it would be very difficult to obtain international or domestic support, so rather than attacking Syria directly the U.S. and NATO have been running a proxy war by arming and funding the Syrian rebels. To obscure the source of this support U.S. allies in the region such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia have been used to purchase weapons and then route them to Syria via Turkey. This pattern of arming and funding dictators or extremist groups to get take down non-cooperative governments has been a key element in America’s foreign policy since the creation of the CIA after World War II.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF314o-ZtQ0Video can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: US Funded Taliban says Mrs. Clinton (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF314o-ZtQ0)Let’s not just talk about this in general sense. This should be taken as a warning to those rebel groups that the U.S. is using to to destabilize Syria right now.Now who are these Syrian rebels, this Free Syrian Army that the U.S. government so vocally supports? Well, while the West has tried to paint them as local freedom fighters, the reality is that the conflict has attracted foreign Jihadist from multiple countries, many of whom openly declare their intent to replace Assad’s secular government with Sharia law. Numerous mainstream reports are already surfacing of Sharia motivated atrocities committed by the rebels. These reports are backed up by video footage that is far too graphic for me to show here. If you do a google search you can videos of men being beheaded and women being shot by rebels from the Al-Nusra Front. Yet the U.S. government isn’t deterred by these details. They still want to help these extremists topple the Syrian government.Funny isn’t it how they require FBI background checks to buy a deer rifle in the states, but if you’re a foreign Jihadist trying to overthrow a government that Washington isn’t on good terms with they’ll send you rocket launchers and heavy artillery no questions asked? And how do you reconcile the fact that the U.S. is fighting religious extremists in Afghanistan calling them terrorists, while supporting those same groups in Syria calling them freedom fighters. It doesn’t make sense at all if you take the U.S. government’s propaganda at face value. On March 19th, 2013 sarin gas was used in Syria near Aleppo. Israel and the U.S. promptly blamed the Syrian government for the attacks even though many of those who were killed were Syrian government soldiers. Obama began talking about the event as a red line that had been crossed and the war mongers began their saber rattling in earnest. However the U.N. insisted on investigating the issue themselves, and on May 6th, 2013 UN investigator, Carla Del Ponte, went public stating that evidence from their investigation indicated that it was Syrian rebels that had used the sarin gas and that there was no indication that the Syrian government had launched any chemical attacks whatsoever.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBsW342pMKMVideo can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: BBC News Carla Del Ponte ‘stupefied by Syrian opposition sarin use’ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBsW342pMKM)Russia’s U.N. ambassador, Vitaly Churkin, agreed with Del Ponte after Russian experts visited the location where the projectile struck and took their own samples of material from the site. Those samples were then analyzed at a Russian laboratory certified by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. According to lab results they found that the presence of Hexogen, utilized as an opening charge, and which is not used in standard munitions pointed to the attack being launched by the rebels.Rather than cover this development, the mainstream media did what they always do when they don’t want the public to look at something: the simply changed the subject. Now of course the fact that the U.S. backed rebels had attempted to frame the Syrian government in order to build support for a NATO invasion would be bad enough, they were trying to start a war of aggression, but let’s remember that sarin gas was in fact used. This means that the U.S. and its allies were willing to commit a blatant war crime, killing scores of civilians in order to justify toppling Assad. Nor did the U.S. withdraw their support after this event, in fact they increased it.You would think that the fact that after this first attempt at framing Syria had blown up in their face the west would back down or try a different approach, but no. By July of 2013 the U.S. was already openly discussing “kinetic strikes” against Syria as if their lies hadn’t been exposed. This of course brings us to the attack on August 21st, 2013 where they attempted once again to frame the Syrian government for the use of sarin gas, and once again they got caught. The first wave of media coverage tried to pin the attack on the Syrian government, and the U.S. and France instantly came out condemning Assad. By August 24th the Pentagon had already announced plans for missile strikes, but even as they did their story was already falling apart again. The Syrian army came forward that same day with footage to back up their report that they had uncovered a massive chemical weapons cache in rebel tunnels in the Damascus suburb of Jobar. This is the exact neighborhood where the chemical attack took place. Then witnesses came forward with this video footage showing the rebels preparing what appear to be crude chemical weapons rockets for an attack. If you look closely at these rockets you’ll see that the device shown is clearly improvised. This isn’t a mass produced military grade munition like Assad would have. This is homemade.Reuters acknowledges in this article that photos of rockets matching the description of this clip are currently being examined by experts. These experts say the rockets in the pictures they have are “Relatively basic and with crude stabilizing fins” they also say that they “bear a striking resemblance to devices found elsewhere in Syria in the aftermath of much smaller suspected attacks”. If that’s the case, and if the U.N. and Russia have evidence that the rebels were the ones who were behind the first chemical weapons attacks back in March then what does that tell us?Let’s put this case together as a district attorney might when deciding who to prosecute for a crime. Let’s establish motive, means, opportunity and evidence. These are the elements you need to reach a guilty verdict in court.Who had motive? Not the Syrian government. The Syrian military has been making strong gains this past few months. They didn’t need to use chemical weapons. Furthermore they knew full well that the U.S. and NATO where looking for an excuse to invade, so the last thing they would want to do would be to give them that excuse. The rebels on the other hand do have motive since they knew they could count on the western media to spin the story in their favor, and that’s exactly what’s happened. But did the rebels have the means and the oportunity? Actually yes. On May 31st, 2013 security forces in Turkey found a 2kg cylinder filled with sarin gas after searching the homes of Syrian militants. On July 7, the Syrian army went public about a chemical lab they had found belonging to rebels in the city of Banias. In terms of evidence everything that has been released to the public so far points to the rebels being behind the attack. If the U.S. government has any real evidence to support their side of the story why don’t they produce it? The so called intel document that they released on August 30th to justify their position doesn’t contain any evidence at all, it’s just a statement of opinion. They’re talking about bombing a nation, taking us into a war that will most likely spin out of control drawing in Iran, Russia and China just based on their word. Both Russia and China have openly sided with Syria and Iran, and Russia has warned that thermonuclear war could result if the U.S. continues down this path. We’re talking about world war 3 here! This is not a game people! This is by far the dangerous crossroads we have ever come to in living history. If we let these psychopaths continue taking us down this path the consequences are too horrific to contemplate. We’ve been talking about this war that they’re trying to start here right now for years. We’ve been trying to warn people where we are headed and trying to show you that there is no political solution that will turn the U.S. government around. Voting the bums out isn’t going to work. The people are going to have to take the power that they’ve handed over to these madmen back directly. The first stage of the revolution is the ideological revolution. That means our first job is to wake people up. To achieve this we must build networks of awareness. It’s time to connect the activist groups, the facebook pages, the bloggers, the alternative media. It’s time to build lines of communication that cross these artificial borders of left and right. It’s time to find that common ground, that unifying idea that will enable us to face our common enemy and which will lay the framework for what comes next. We must reach a critical mass of awakening, because that’s when those networks of awareness become networks of resistance. Our network must reach into every aspect of society, especially to the police and military. The police and the military are the enforcement arm of this mafia. Without them the powers that be have no power at all.We must show them that they are being tricked, that they are not being sent to fight for freedom nor do the American people or the Syrian people want this war. Only 9% of the U.S. population support strikes against Syria, 91% appose it. Who wants this war? A handful of narcissistic psychopaths and useful idiots.History will remember the real heroes of this crisis as being the ones that had the courage to face this corrupt chain of command and say NO, I WILL NOT COMPLY! Some are already making that stand don’t leave them standing alone. If you want to understand the real reason we’re being taken into these wars please watch the video below:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HP7L8bw5QF4Video can’t be loaded because JavaScript is disabled: The Road to World War 3
