Police have discovered another four kilograms of the drug ice hidden inside fruit juice containers at a storage unit on Sydney’s north shore.
The discovery on Friday, worth more than $900,000, means more than 75kg of black heroin, brown heroin and ice have been seized this week, police said on Saturday.
The drugs have an estimated street value of more than $26 million.
The juice containers, totalling more than one tonne, are being examined, as are another 78 juice boxes which were seized by officers at a storage unit at Perth Airport on Friday, police say.
Jewellery, securities and more than $300,000 in cash have also been discovered.
Mohammad Dashti, 43, was arrested on Thursday at the storage unit in Artarmon.
He was charged with two counts of commercial supply of a large commercial quantity of prohibited drugs.
Dashti did not apply for bail, which was formally refused when his matter came before Hornsby Local Court on Friday.
He is due to appear in Sydney’s Central Local Court on March 29.
