Sydney is the first city in the world to have Premium Economy on every Emirates flight.
The Sydney-Dubai route stakes its claim as the first – and currently, only – city pair in Emirates’ global network with Premium Economy now available on every flight.
In fact, Emirates is the only Middle Eastern carrier serving Australia with a Premium Economy cabin at all. The airline’s key competitors, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways offer standard Economy as well as an extra legroom alternative – but not a separate Premium Economy cabin.
Emirates’ Premium Economy flight scheduled for Sydney
With Premium Economy now on every Emirates flight to and from Sydney, travellers are free to fly when it’s most convenient for them – knowing their preferred cabin will be ready and waiting.
Here’s an outline of Emirates’ Sydney flights: all of which now sport Premium Economy every day.
Route | Flight number | Departure time | Arrival time | Aircraft type |
Sydney to Dubai | EK415 | 6 am | 1:20 pm | Airbus A380 |
Dubai to Sydney | EK414 | 2 am | 10:30 pm | Airbus A380 |
Sydney to Dubai | EK413 | 9:45 pm | 5:15 am (+1) | Airbus A380 |
Dubai to Sydney | EK412 | 10:15 am | 7 am | Airbus A380 |
On the Airbus A380, Emirates Premium Economy is located at the front of the main deck. Designed in a 2-4-2 layout, 56 seats reside ahead of the standard Economy cabin. That’s two fewer seats in each Premium Economy row, versus Economy.
The schedule above allows up to 224 Emirates Premium Economy passengers to come and go from Sydney each day.
