A man was repeatedly stabbed with a machete during a car robbery in Melbourne.
The 28-year-old man was sitting in his car in Cranbourne North, south-east of Melbourne, around 6.40pm yesterday when he was approached by two men who demanded that he step out of his car.
When the man refused one of the men stabbed him several times with a machete through the open car door.
The Cranbourne North man stumbled from the vehicle and the duo stole his phone, wallet and fled in his car.
The victim was taken to Casey Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
