million over two time periods.
The advert then focuses on Gingrich as a lobbyist, although he insists that he
didn’t lobby at the time.
Following a clip of Gingrich saying that he offered “advice as a historian”
for Freddie Mac, the narrator says, “an historian? Really?”
Mitt Romney’s defeat
in the South Carolina primary to Gingrich has sparked him to
question more of his Republican
rival’s background and has led him to demanding that Gingrich release
records of his consulting contracts.
