An Australian teen who allegedly bought marijuana in Bali could be sent to the infamous Kerekoban jail that houses Shapelle Corby for processing.
Lead prosecutor Atmaja reportedly wants the 14-year-old NSW boy sent to the jail where members of the Bali 9 drug trafficking ring are also serving time.
Prosecutors are reportedly pursuing three charges against the Morisset Park teen, including one that could see him serve six years in jail.
The results of a drug test he undertook have returned positive for marijuana. But this is good news for the boy as he could have been treated as a suspected drug dealer had he failed the test.
The boy’s lawyers will now continue to argue that their client is a drug user who needs rehabilitation and is not a drug dealer.
He is expected to be relocated the notorious Bali prison by the end of this week or early next week.
