A teenage boy has escaped a suspected sex predator, who he claims assaulted him at Cottesloe Beach.
The 14-year-old boy was using a shower in the toilet block under the Indiana Tea House
yesterday afternoon about 12:30pm when a man spoke with him briefly before indecently assaulting the boy.

Disturbingly, it is believed the person of interest was with a second man, who was sitting outside the toilet block with a box of ice creams.
The victim, his older relative and the life guards tried to follow the two men but lost sight of them in a car park, and while police patrolled the area they were unable to locate the men.
One of the men is described as dark skinned, approximately 40 to 50 years old, of large build with black curly hair and a moustache while the second man is 20 to 25 years of old, olive skinned, with short brown hair and a moustache.
Western Suburbs Detectives are investigating and ask anyone who noticed the two men acting suspiciously around the toilet block at that time to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
